Cloth and Paper Artifacts


In 2000 the artist had her first solo exhibition of collages, drawings, and unique works on paper with Sears Peyton Gallery in NYC. Since then her work has been featured in galleries and museums internationally, as well as private collections. Group showings have included The Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art, The Jonson Gallery at the University of New Mexico, Williams Art Gallery at Lafayette College, Richard F. Brush Gallery at St. Lawrence University, New York Hall of Science, Brooks Engineering Design Center at Cooper Union, The LAND Gallery, Russell Janis Project Space, and Prairie Studio. She has also been a materials contributor to Romanian Creative Week, Romanian Design Week, The Hunterdon Museum, and the Lancaster Museum of Art.

Abigail has been a featured artist at Art on Paper New York and was a past participant in the Drawing Center's Viewing Program. In 2021, her collage work (gifted to the artists) was auctioned at Sotheby's France as part of Unwrapped, Part II: The Hidden World of Christo and Jeanne-Claude.

Recent works on or of paper and recycled cloth explore the incorporation of unusual woven papers, handmade papyrus, organic matter, as well as recycled fiber and garments gathered from rural settings as well as her travels in Eastern Europe and Italy.
